This painting has been accepted into the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center’s 38th annual Michigan Fine Art’s Competition. The exhibition opens June 21 and closes August 22, 2019.
The Hiatus is what I call my studio. It’s where I like to spend most of my time making stuff. It’s where I paint, write songs, play the drums too loudly, do graphic design projects, and entertain family and friends. A place of such importance deserves to become the subject of a painting.
